Millions of Americans are purchasing Medicare Advantage Plans in an effort to save money on their health insurance premiums.  However, many do not realize that such a purchase can restrict their access to finding the best treatment possible once they have a disease or illness.

These Medicare Plans are often compared to Medicare Supplement Insurance by salespeople with an incentive to sell these plans.  However, the coverages differ dramatically and the restrictions in these Medicare Advantage Plans can have serious health consequences to the enrollee.  Please watch this video before purchasing a Medicare Advantage Plan, it can literally save your life.

Please keep me on the list. When I get back next week (12-1-08) I am going to make a decision on a supplement plan and a supplement drug plan. Not interested in advantage plans, just lowest cost for an “F” plan. If you have an easy way to identify this plan please let me know. I have listened to your presentation twice.

    Thanks, Bob

  2. Jim Couch Says:

I feel that this is a very good idea!

  3. Margaret Schomer Says:

Thank you for your presentation. I listened with great interest. I have already chosen a Medigap 360 plan F. However, of interest, a gentleman called me who favored the Medicare Advantage plan. He gave his reasons and I had many questions. In the end, I told him my peace of mind was far more important than a few dollars. I had no intention of accepting the Medicare Advantage plan, but I was not completely sure why. After hearing more about these plans, it confirmed my decision to use Medigap 360. I think your presentation was excellent and very clear. I think putting a comparison rate on the internet would be excellent. However, I am the type of person who usually has questions and believe, for me anyway, that an agent should be available, if necessary, to answer informed or stupid questions. Sincerely, Margaret Schomer

  4. Marlene Leonard Says:

    Am only interested in supplement

  5. Steve Wasylkowski Says:

Great presentation! You have a great idea here.

  6. Robert J Williams Says:

Only wish I had seen this last year. I would have been many dollars ahead. I am ready to switch my plans and will also be switching the plans held by my 92 year old mother. Your upfront, honest and educational presentation just shined thru to me immediately. Give a call or email and we can do both plans as soon as possible. 92 year old mothers have a way of wanting to get things done!

  7. Kelly Buckelew Says:

I appreciated your presentation, I am looking them over again right now and will make a decision this week. Thank you for the great break down and explaining everything so well.

  8. Gary Says:

I have already purchased medigap, but would like to remain on your list for next year in case I wish to change providers. Thanks!

  9. Sally Peck Says:

I have Supp F. Advantage plans seemed “too good to be true”. Part D is no savings for the full year. The gap eats up any savings there might be. Do all Part F’s pay the same after A & B? regardless of premium?
On what are Part F premiums based and who sets them?

  10. Anthony Oliverio Says:

I am not interested in “ANY” Medicare Advantage Plan.
Just like Bob, I would like a good “F” plan.
    Thank you.

  11. James Davenport Says:

I am 78 years old, have had medigap with Mutual of Omaha (F plan),
for 13 years, but they have increased their prices way to far.

I was treated for Prostate Cancer about 15 years ago (Brachy Theraphy), complete remission, cancer returned in 2001, am being treated by Lupron injection and Casadex pill.

Is there ever an “open registration” time for Medigap? Otherwise I assume I would have to be underwritten, with little chance of acceptance.

    Thank you.
    James
